Edge tones
[edit]The section on Edge tones is unclear. From what language do the illustrations come? What is the significance of "animal" and "malaria"? It needs to be written more clearly. Kanjuzi (talk) 05:58, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
Title
[edit]This article used to be called "Pitch accent (intonation)", which I think is a better title. The word "pitch accent" by itself usually refers to the accent of languages such as Japanese and Ancient Greek, except in intonational studies. Calling the article just "Pitch accent" may create confusion. Certainly a lot of other articles have links directing here when they don't mean this kind of intonational accent at all. I think the title should be changed back. Kanjuzi (talk) 05:14, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- I agree. I'm reverting the change. Nardog (talk) 05:25, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
- Excellent. I'm going through the articles to ensure that they link to the correct page. Kanjuzi (talk) 07:03, 26 April 2018 (UTC) - Done. Kanjuzi (talk) 07:25, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
